### Summary: This report outlines cybersecurity challenges for body-worn cameras used by law enforcement and public safety personnel, and recommends cryptographic and operational mitigations — including asymmetric ECC encryption for footage, PKI-based signing for integrity, secure key storage (TPM/TrustZone), firmware signing and secure boot, and tamper detection — to protect confidentiality, integrity, and chain of custody while minimizing the risk of compromised devices pivoting into upstream systems.
