Hackers tried to breach Poland’s nuclear research centre

Poland’s National Centre for Nuclear Research (NCBJ) detected and blocked a cyberattack targeting its IT infrastructure; no production, operational, or research processes were disrupted and the MARIA reactor remains fully operational. The centre is cooperating with national cybersecurity authorities to investigate and strengthen protections; no group has claimed responsibility, though early indicators were reported to point to possible activity originating from Iran.
