MITRE releases a shared fraud-cyber framework built from real attack data

The article introduces MITRE's Fight Fraud Framework (F3), a behavior-based taxonomy for describing, detecting, and disrupting financial fraud across the attack lifecycle; it aligns with MITRE ATT&CK when possible, defines fraud-specific techniques (F1XXX) for cases outside ATT&CK, and promotes collaboration between fraud investigators and cybersecurity teams while remaining a living framework that will be expanded with data sources and mitigations.
