Authorities disrupt four IoT botnets behind record DDoS attacks

The U.S. Justice Department and international partners disrupted four large IoT botnets (Aisuru, KimWolf, JackSkid, Mossad) that infected millions of devices and were used to launch hundreds of thousands of DDoS attacks — including record-setting floods up to ~31.4 Tbps — as part of a cybercrime-as-a-service model that caused financial losses, extortion, and attacks on DoD networks.
