Cursor Automations turns code review and ops into background tasks

Cursor announced Cursor Automations, an always-on agent platform that runs autonomous agents in response to development events (e.g., merged PRs, issues, Slack messages, PagerDuty, webhooks) to scale code review, security auditing, and incident response. Key systems include a security review agent that audits pushes and reports high-risk findings to Slack, an "agentic codeowners" system that auto-approves low-risk changes and assigns reviewers for higher-risk ones, and an incident-response agent that uses Datadog and PagerDuty integrations to investigate issues and propose fixes; the platform also automates routine tasks like test-coverage checks, bug triage, and weekly activity digests.
