Scammers rebuild fake shopping sites within hours of a takedown

Akamai’s Fraud and Abuse Report outlines coordinated online fraud campaigns that deploy thousands of look-alike domains, phishing checkout pages, counterfeit ticket and retail sites, malicious apps distributed via social ads, and recruitment/credential-phishing flows to harvest payment and identity data, enable credential stuffing and account takeover, and exploit account-creation and SMS verification mechanisms for financial gain.
