Sophos researchers discovered and tested an AI subscription service called "Luciferus" advertised on the Exploit forum that claims to provide uncensored responses and, in testing, returned source code for a Python remote access trojan; the service appears to be a fine-tuned open-source LLM hosted without safeguards, is sold via tiered subscriptions, and represents a growing trend of commercialized AI tools lowering barriers for cybercriminal activity.
