Cyberattack forces UT San Antonio to delay start of fall semester

The University of Texas at San Antonio delayed the start of its fall semester after detecting and containing an attempted cyber intrusion targeting its academic network; systems were taken offline as a precaution, incident responders were engaged, and the university reports no evidence of data theft though phone and password services were disrupted.
