AI infrastructure is cracking under sovereignty demands

Private and sovereign AI are central concerns for enterprises: NTT DATA’s 2026 Global AI Report finds most organizations are planning to relocate or constrain AI infrastructure for geopolitical, regulatory, and compliance reasons. The report highlights infrastructure, data gravity, and governance as key design constraints, notes execution and confidence gaps, and recommends embedding governance early, using hybrid architectures, and adopting centralized governance with federated operating models to support compliant, high-performing AI deployments.
