Microsoft published a WinUI 3 development plugin for AI agents (GitHub Copilot CLI and Claude Code) that provides a central agent (winui-dev) with multiple composable skills to scaffold, build, test, iterate, and package WinUI 3 apps; the release includes supporting tools such as a Roslyn analyzer, a native-AOT sample search CLI, and offline API metadata lookup, depends on the WinApp CLI (and a temporary PowerShell wrapper), and is available via the awesome-copilot registry with feedback collected on GitHub.
