Authorities seize 800 servers used for cyberattacks and disinformation

Dutch authorities arrested two men and seized approximately 800 servers from a web hosting company allegedly used to support Russian-linked cyberattacks, interference operations, and disinformation campaigns targeting the European Union. The hosting firm was created in February 2022, later placed on the EU sanctions list, and is accused of transferring infrastructure to a newly established Dutch front company; searches across business sites and data centers recovered devices and administrative records.
