Building reusable workflows with custom agents in Copilot CLI

This article describes GitHub Copilot CLI custom agents: repository-hosted Markdown agent profiles that define an agent's role, tools, and guardrails so teams can automate and version repeatable terminal workflows (examples include security audits, infrastructure-as-code compliance, release notes, and initial incident reporting); it also covers setup, use via the /agent command, and availability of partner-built off-the-shelf agents.
