Opera blocks ClickFix attacks with new clipboard protection feature

Opera has launched Paste Protect, a default clipboard-protection feature in its desktop browsers that combines existing Hijack Protection with a new Injection Protection to detect and block ClickFix-style pastejacking attacks—malicious situations where users are tricked into copying and pasting commands that install malware or grant remote access. The feature monitors clipboard activity across Windows, macOS, and Linux, blocks suspicious copy actions, displays warnings and the first 120 characters of blocked content, and allows trusted developers or sites to be whitelisted.
