Romania’s land registry hit by cyber attack, data allegedly for sale

Romania's National Agency for Cadastre and Land Registration (ANCPI) experienced a cyber attack that rendered its e-Terra cadastre and land registry application unavailable, disrupting property transactions; the agency says administered data has not been compromised. A threat actor calling themselves "ByteToBreach" posted claims and screenshots alleging data theft, GitLab source-code exfiltration, and ransomware deployment, but those claims are unverified at this time.
