Cogent targets exploit-to-remediation gap with new AI-powered security capabilities

Cogent announced two new AI-driven platform capabilities—Zero Day Response and Autonomous Remediation—that detect exposures within minutes of vulnerability disclosure, map them to an organization’s software inventory, score risk in context, and automatically generate or execute remediation plans with pre-flight impact assessment and confirmation of fixes; the goal is to compress mean time to remediate from weeks to minutes in the face of rapidly accelerating attacker timelines.
