Cyberattack on French government agency triggers phishing alert

France Titres (Agence nationale des titres sécurisés) disclosed a data breach detected on April 15 that may have exposed user portal information — including login IDs, names, emails, dates of birth, unique account identifiers and, in some records, postal addresses, places of birth, and telephone numbers. The agency notified affected users, reported the incident to CNIL and the Paris public prosecutor for a criminal investigation, informed ANSSI, and implemented additional security measures while warning users to be vigilant for phishing attempts.
