LeakBase cybercrime forum with 142,000 users taken down in global operation

LeakBase, a forum active since 2021 that hosted a large archive of breached databases and stealer logs and had over 142,000 registered users, was dismantled in a coordinated two-phase international operation led by Europol; law enforcement seized the forum database, targeted top users with arrests and searches across multiple jurisdictions, replaced the domain with a police splash page, and moved the operation into a prevention and awareness phase.
