Basic-Fit hack compromises data of up to 1 million members

Basic-Fit disclosed that an unauthorized access to an internal system led to the download of member personal data (names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth and bank account details). The company says the intrusion was detected and stopped within minutes, impacted members were notified and there is currently no evidence of password or ID compromise or misuse; reported impact ranges from ~200,000 (company) to ~1 million (media) across multiple European countries.
