WatchGuard’s Q1 2018 Internet Security Report

WatchGuard released its Q1 2018 Internet Security Report based on anonymized telemetry from over 37,000 Firebox appliances, reporting that network attacks grew 52%, malicious Office documents continued to target U.S. victims, Ramnit resurfaced in Italy, and scripting attacks declined; during Q1 these devices blocked nearly 17 million signature-based malware detections and an additional 6.7 million sandboxed malware events.
