Introducing GuardDog 3.0: A new rules engine, transparent sandboxing, and more

GuardDog 3.0 is a Datadog SecurityLabs release that replaces Semgrep with YARA for scalable source-code heuristics, introduces a risk-scoring engine that combines capability and threat-indicator rules, adds sandboxed extraction and scanning via Nono, and describes evaluation methodology using a clustered malicious-package dataset to measure precision, recall, and other metrics.
