First-party tags in seconds: Cloudflare integrates Google tag gateway for advertisers

Cloudflare announces a free integration with Google’s tag gateway for advertisers that lets sites proxied through Cloudflare serve Google tag scripts from their own domain via a first-party proxy, improving performance and measurement accuracy without running a separate server. Configuration can be done in Google Tag Manager or the Cloudflare dashboard, where Cloudflare intercepts and rewrites requests to Google endpoints, normalizes headers, and serves scripts and measurement payloads through the site’s domain so cookies are set first-party.
