Cable cuts, storms, and DNS: a look at Internet disruptions in Q4 2025

Cloudflare Radar’s Q4 2025 report summarizes over 180 observed Internet disruptions worldwide, spanning a government-ordered shutdown in Tanzania; submarine cable cuts impacting Haiti and Cameroon (WACS/PEACE); power outages in the Dominican Republic and Kenya; conflict-related outages in Ukraine; and severe weather impacts from Hurricane Melissa (Jamaica) and Cyclone Senyar (Sri Lanka, Indonesia). Additional provider-specific technical incidents included Smartfren (ID), Vodafone UK, Fastweb (IT), multiple Benin ISPs, Cellcom and Partner (IL).
