First round of French election: party attacks and a modest traffic dip

Cloudflare reported that three French political parties were targeted by multiple DDoS attacks during the June 2024 legislative election period, with peak attack rates reaching roughly 118,000 requests per second and other peaks near 68,000 and 40,000 rps; Cloudflare blocked the attacks and noted modest traffic drops during voting followed by increases after polls closed.
