A global virtual private cloud for building secure cross-cloud apps on Cloudflare Workers

Cloudflare previews Workers VPC and Workers VPC Private Link, enabling isolated, global virtual private clouds on the Workers platform and private, bidirectional connectivity to external cloud VPCs via IPsec or Cloudflare Network Interconnect, with automatic resource discovery, bindings, and private DNS to securely route traffic without public exposure; the platform aims to simplify cross-cloud app development, reduce egress costs, and support use cases such as real-time collaboration, MCP servers, AI/data workflows, and accessing R2, D1, and KV from external environments, with an early preview targeted for 2025.
