How Automatic Return Routing solves IP overlap

Automatic Return Routing (ARR) is a Cloudflare One feature (closed beta) that resolves overlapping private IP address conflicts by tracking flows in userspace and remembering the originating tunnel so return traffic is delivered symmetrically without consulting routing tables. Built on the Unified Routing and Apollo userspace dataplane, ARR enables zero-touch routing for client-to-internet traffic, reduces reliance on VRF/NAT, and is initially available for Secure Web Gateway with plans to extend to private data center access and mid-flow failover.
