Workers Builds: integrated CI/CD built on the Workers platform

Cloudflare describes the design and rollout of Workers Builds, an open beta CI/CD pipeline for Workers that integrates with GitHub/GitLab to automatically build and deploy commits, using a distributed control plane on Workers with Durable Objects (Scheduler and per-build Build Buddy), a Hyperdrive-connected Postgres configuration plane, Smart Placement for low-latency proximity to data, and Workers Logs for structured observability; it also covers testing with cloudflare:test/Vitest, metrics via Analytics Engine and Grafana, and previews upcoming R2-backed build caching.
