Cloudflare announces major updates to Workers that make it a unified platform for hosting static assets and building full-stack apps, including GA support for popular frameworks (React Router v7/Remix, Astro, Hono, Vue, Nuxt, Svelte; Next.js/Angular/SolidJS coming), a GA Vite plugin, SPA and SSR support, static `_headers`/`_redirects` files, GitHub/GitLab integrations with faster Workers Builds and preview URLs, expanded Node.js APIs (crypto, tls, net, dns) and `process.env` compatibility, Hyperdrive connectivity for PostgreSQL and MySQL with Smart Placement, increased CPU limits to 5 minutes, and a GA Images binding—along with guidance to favor Workers over Pages and notes on updated Workers Builds pricing.
