Announcing the Monetization Gateway: charge for any resource behind Cloudflare via x402

Cloudflare announces the Monetization Gateway, a service and control plane that enables usage-based payments for web pages, APIs, datasets, and tools using the x402 HTTP payment protocol and stablecoins. The Gateway enforces payment verification at Cloudflare's edge, offers rules-based pricing (including per-route, variable, and unauthenticated-only charges), integrates with existing Cloudflare rules and APIs, and aims to enable sub-cent, sub-second micropayments for agent-driven consumption; a waitlist for early access is open.
