Detecting sensitive data and misconfigurations in AWS and GCP with Cloudflare One

Cloudflare announced new CASB and DLP capabilities that integrate with AWS S3 and Google Cloud Storage to detect sensitive data and identify misconfigurations, with plans to expand to additional storage platforms. The solution offers pre-built and custom detection profiles, posture management checks (e.g., public buckets, disabled logging, MFA gaps), and configurable scanning that runs within the customer’s environment. A serverless, privacy-first architecture coordinates discovery, scanning, and reporting while keeping data in the customer’s cloud.
