Log Explorer: monitor security events without third-party storage

Cloudflare announces the beta of Log Explorer, an extension to Security Analytics that provides native, long-term storage and querying of HTTP and Security Event logs within the Cloudflare Dashboard. It enables SOC and engineering teams to search, filter, and run SQL on raw logs; investigate unmitigated traffic and false positives; and correlate by fields like Ray ID, reducing reliance on third-party log platforms. Built on Cloudflare R2 with the Delta Lake protocol and a Rust-based engine (delta-rs, Apache Arrow DataFusion), it offers per-customer datasets with strong consistency and previews future enhancements like additional datasets, custom retention, and integrated alerting.
