Meeting ISO Third-Party Risk Management Requirements in 2024 | UpGuard

This article describes how ISO 27001, ISO 27002, and ISO/IEC 27018 relate to third-party risk management and maps relevant supplier- and cloud-focused controls (notably Annex A and section 15) to UpGuard platform features—including custom questionnaires, vendor tiering, continuous monitoring, security ratings, remediation workflows, audit support, and fourth-party mapping—to help organizations assess and manage vendor security, protect PII in cloud services, and maintain compliance.
