AWS completes the second GDV community audit with participant insurers in Germany

AWS announced completion of its second GDV community audit with 36 German insurance participants (covering ~63% market by premiums), assessing AWS controls and services (e.g., EC2 in eu-central-1) against frameworks including BSI C5 to support compliance with DORA, BaFin, and EIOPA guidance. The remote audit, conducted by DCSO on behalf of participants, reviewed policies, evidence, and SME sessions; findings were finalized after AWS review and are shared only with participating members and regulators to provide assurance and help remove compliance blockers.
