AWS announced IPv6 support for IAM Identity Center through new dual-stack endpoints that work with both IPv4 and IPv6, providing guidance to update external IdP SAML/SCIM settings, transition workforce to new access portal and service URLs (app.aws, api.aws), and monitor adoption via CloudTrail’s clientProvidedHostHeader; existing IPv4 endpoints continue to function to support a phased transition.
