Security researchers have observed multiple scams and malware campaigns exploiting the rapid rise of DeepSeek: lookalike websites distributing a signed malicious executable (Win32/Packed.NSIS.A), bogus crypto tokens and investment scams, plus newly discovered leaked DeepSeek infrastructure data exposing API keys, logs and user prompts; researchers also warn of model jailbreak techniques that can produce harmful outputs.
