Cybercriminals are luring content creators with fake “premium” AI versions of popular design/video tools (CapCut, Adobe Express, Canva) that simulate processing and then deliver executable files masquerading as media. These executables are actually remote access tools/infostealers which can enable device takeover, data theft, and further malware deployment; the report describes examples of impersonating sites, the threat posed by legitimate remote-access tools abused by attackers, and provides practical mitigation steps (download from official sources, inspect URLs, keep software updated, use layered security and 2FA).
