Venezuelan Nationals Face Deportation After Multi State ATM Jackpotting Scheme

Two Venezuelan nationals were convicted for a multi-state ATM jackpotting scheme in the U.S. Southeast: they physically opened older ATMs at night, connected laptops to internal systems, installed malware that forced the machines to dispense cash until depleted, and drained hundreds of thousands of dollars across multiple states. Investigated by the U.S. Secret Service and SLED, the operation led to convictions, prison time and restitution orders, and the perpetrators face deportation.
