Bell Ambulance Confirms Data Breach Affecting 237,830 Individuals

Bell Ambulance experienced unauthorized access to its network resulting in a data breach that affected roughly 114,000 individuals; exposed data may include names, dates of birth, SSNs, driver’s license numbers, financial and medical/insurance information. The intrusion — which Medusa claimed and said involved ~220 GB of exfiltrated data and a $400,000 ransom demand — prompted account remediation, a forensic investigation, staged notifications (April 2025 and January 2026), and offers of 12–24 months of credit monitoring for affected individuals.
