FBI Investigates Steam Games Linked to Malware and Crypto Wallet Theft

The FBI’s Seattle Division is investigating several Steam games (including Lampy, Lunara, PirateFi, Chemia, Tokenova, BlockBlasters, and Dashverse) that were updated to include hidden malware which scrapes browser data and empties cryptocurrency wallets; attackers spread the titles via Discord and Telegram, caused significant financial losses for some victims, and Steam has removed the games while the FBI requests victims to complete a voluntary intake form.
