Revolut Customers Targeted by Phishing Campaign After Data Breach

Revolut acknowledged staff-provided disclosure of a limited set of customer records (identity documents, verification selfies, DOB, contact and financial details including IBANs and Bitcoin transaction info) after fraudulent information requests; shortly after the admission, customers received convincing phishing SMS and fake liveness-check web pages that mimicked Revolut messages, potentially enabling credential theft or identity fraud, although a direct link between the breach and the phishing has not been established.
