Continuous Detection, Continuous Response: Mate Security Redefines the Modern SOC

This document presents Mate Security's Continuous Detection/Continuous Response (CD/CR) approach, which integrates detection and investigation into a continuous feedback loop driven by a Security Context Graph that preserves organizational context across distributed data sources. It argues that traditional SIEM-centric pipelines and the separation of detection and investigation create fragility and operational friction, and proposes an adaptive, self-improving SOC architecture where investigations continuously refine detections and responses.
