**Tech-support scam delivered via Google Ads:** A large-scale browser-based scareware campaign used paid Google Ads to direct victims to store-like pages that, after a mouse-movement trigger, decrypt and assemble a fake security locker in-browser (Windows and macOS variants) that hides the cursor, disables shortcuts, and pressures users to call displayed phone numbers; Netskope observed exposure across at least 619 organizations and identified hundreds of ad campaign IDs and scam hosts.
