Sanctioned Bulletproof Host Linked to Hijacking of Old Home Routers

Infoblox researchers uncovered a global DNS hijacking campaign that compromises outdated home routers to change DNS settings, redirecting users across more than three dozen countries through resolvers hosted by Aeza International and an HTTP-based Traffic Distribution System that funnels traffic into advertising/affiliate networks and malicious or deceptive websites; mitigation requires replacing unsupported routers that no longer receive security updates.
