ShinyHunters Leak 2M Records From Dutch Telecom Odido, Claim 21M Stolen

A criminal group known as ShinyHunters breached Dutch telecom Odido and its budget brand Ben, claiming between 6.2 million and 21 million customer records stolen. After demanding over €1 million and Odido refusing to pay, the attackers began a daily data-leak campaign, publishing millions of customer records that reportedly include addresses, emails, IBANs and identity numbers; Odido says plaintext passwords and scanned identity documents remain safe and is offering affected customers a 24-month security package while Dutch police advise victims not to pay.
