Discord Data Breach: Hackers Access IDs, Billing Details and Support Chats

Discord confirmed a security incident in which an attacker compromised a third-party customer service provider’s systems, exposing personal data of users who contacted support — including names, email addresses, support messages, limited billing details and a small number of government ID images. The group claiming responsibility (Scattered LAPSUS$ Hunters) posted screenshots and threatened additional leaks; Discord revoked the vendor’s access, engaged forensic assistance and law enforcement, and warned affected users to watch for phishing.
