Apple Approves Fake App Before Real Rabby Wallet, Users’ Funds Stolen

A fraudulent Rabby Wallet application impersonating the official Rabby mobile wallet was uploaded to the Apple App Store and operated as a wallet-draining app that stole users' seed phrases/private keys; several victims reported substantial cryptocurrency losses (reported examples include $5,000, ~14 ETH, and $40,000 in ETH). The fake app was approved by Apple before the legitimate app's approval and has since been removed, underscoring recurring problems with fraudulent apps on major app stores.
