NIST to stop rating non-priority flaws due to volume increase

The National Institute of Standards and Technology will stop assigning severity ratings and enrichment details for lower-priority CVEs in the NVD due to a large increase in submissions, and will only enrich entries that meet criteria (CISA KEV, U.S. federal software, or critical software per EO 14028); all CVEs will still be listed but many will be marked “Not Scheduled.”
