Europol confirmed an incident involving unauthorized access to a closed user group on its Europol Platform for Experts (EPE) after a threat actor going by "IntelBroker" claimed to have stolen For Official Use Only (FOUO) and classified documents, leaked screenshots, and a sample EC3 SPACE database containing thousands of records; Europol says the access was via stolen credentials, detected quickly, limited to a small part of EPE, and that no core operational systems or operational data were compromised.
