Prudential Financial breached in data theft cyberattack

Prudential Financial disclosed a network breach detected on Feb 5 after attackers gained access on Feb 4, during which administrative and user data and a small percentage of employee/contractor accounts were accessed; the intrusion was blocked one day later, law enforcement was notified, and no customer data has been identified as accessed so far.
