Fake LastPass password manager spotted on Apple’s App Store

LastPass warned that a fake app named “LassPass” impersonating the LastPass password manager appeared on the Apple App Store using similar branding and a red-themed interface; the clone had minimal reviews warning users and was likely a phishing app intended to steal credentials. BleepingComputer reported the issue, LastPass posted an alert with links to the real app, and Apple later removed the fraudulent app and the developer for violating copycat guidelines.
