Askul confirms theft of 740k customer records in ransomware attack

Askul Corporation was hit by a RansomHouse ransomware attack in October that encrypted systems, wiped backups, and led to the theft of approximately 740,000 records across customers, partners, and employees; the breach disrupted shipments and is still affecting order fulfillment while remediation continues. Askul attributes the intrusion to compromised outsourced administrator credentials lacking MFA, reports EDR evasion and use of multiple ransomware variants, and has applied containment and notification measures.
